The Silver Spring Township Board of Supervisors consists of five elected officials, each serving a six-year term. The Board is charged with the general governance of the Township to secure the health, safety and welfare of the citizens of the community.
To accomplish that task the Board adopts laws, known as ordinances, that govern various activities within the Township. The Board, in turn, is governed by both the Second Class Township Code and various other laws of the Commonwealth.
Meetings are tentatively scheduled for the second and fourth Wednesday of every month at 6:30 PM and are held at the Township Administration Building, located at 8 Flowers Drive in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania.
