The Silver Spring Township Sewer Authority Board consists of five appointed members, each serving a five-year term. The Authority is charged with operating and maintaining the sanitary sewer system within the Township of Silver Spring.
To accomplish that task the Authority adopts policies, known as resolutions, which set forth fees, procedures, and specifications for all matters relating to its final product of providing sanitary sewer service to its customers within the Township. The Authority, in turn, is governed by the Pennsylvania Municipality Authorities Act, 53 Pa. C.S. Ch. 56 as amended, and various other laws of the Commonwealth.
