5K Racing Event

Held Every Year in March!

Each year, the Parks & Recreation Department hosts a 5K race (3.1 miles) around the St. Patrick's Day holiday. The race begins and ends at Stony Ridge Park with a few rolling hills in the first mile (Bernheisel Bridge Road). All ages and fitness levels are welcome to participate and the course is chip timed. Dogs are permitted but must be on a short leash. There is a costume contest in addition to the prizes awarded to top runners. All participants will go home with something, including a 5K Jig Jog shirt (available until supplies last)! A leprechaun dash is held for kids 10 and younger and is FREE to enter.

2018 Race
Registration for the 2018 race will be available online at the end of December, 2017.

Proceeds benefit Community Events held in the parks.
