Billing

Sewer rental bills are sent out on a quarterly basis for residential customers and on a monthly basis for commercial customers, regardless of the occupancy status of the service address. Residential bills are due within 30 days of the billing date, and commercial bills are due within 14 days of the billing date. Payments received after the due date is subject to a 10% penalty on the most current billing amount. All payments are processed the day that are received at the office.

Payment Options

The Authority offers multiple payment methods including ACH program, online payment portal, mail and in-person. The ACH program is a payment service that will automatically deduct from your bank account on the due date of the sewer bill. A completed authorization form and voided check must be submitted to the office to set up the service. The form is available above and at the office.

The online portal allows customers to make manual payments, set up e-billing, view balances, etc. You cannot set up automatic payments through the portal, that must be done through the ACH program. To set up online access, go to https://silverspring.authoritypay.com/. You will need your full account number and CID number to create an account, which are found on your quarterly bill. Payments made on the portal using bank information will be pulled once a week, while credit/debit card payments will be pulled a few times a week.

Please click the “Detailed Payment Options”, above for more on submitting payments.”
