Grand Re-Opening on Friday, May 17, 2019

On Friday, May 17th at 5:00 pm, Silver Spring Township will host a grand re-opening of the tennis/pickleball and basketball courts. There will be a brief ribbon cutting, a FREE clinic for pickleball, and information on upcoming health and wellness programs and sports in the local area. What is Pickleball?

Pickleball is a paddle sport that was created for all ages and skill levels. The rules are simple and the game is easy for beginners to learn, but can develop into  aquick, fast-paced, competitive game for experienced players. 

The Basics

Introduction to Pickleball Clinic

Learn the basics of pickleball at the newly resurfaced courts at Pleasant View Park. New and beginner players are welcome! The instructor will teach the basic skills such as: how to serve, how to return a serve, dinking, third shot drop, key rules of the game, and basic play. Bring your own racket, balls are provided. Players must be 18+. Price includes both session dates.

When: May 18th & June 15th, 9:00 - 10:00 AM 

Fees: Resident: $15   Non-Resident: $17
