Our Mission

C.A.M.P. Silver Spring enriches the lives of all children and youth by creating a safe environment to explore and learn the importance of health and wellness, nature, community and team building in an active setting.

Our Goal

The goal of C.A.M.P. Silver Spring is to provide a fun and safe learning environment that is play-based and helps children build self-esteem, responsibility, resourcefulness, and cooperation through planned activities and experiences.

C.A.M.P Silver Spring

School may be out, but the learning doesn’t stop at C.A.M.P. Silver Spring! We help build self-esteem, responsibility, resourcefulness, and cooperation through a variety of programs and activities. Quality camp experiences help to develop healthy emotional and social skills that are necessary for children to grow. This 8-and-a-half week program offers a play-based learning environment for both the campers and staff. The program operates Monday through Friday, starting June 10, 2020, ending August 7, 2020 (No Camp on July 3). The starting date is subject to change depending on the last day of school.  C.A.M.P. Silver Spring is geared to children entering grades 1 through 6. Campers will participate in activities throughout the day as a large group as well as be divided by age groups at times to focus activities toward specific age groups. Participants will experience nature-based activities, health and wellness, sports, art, music, interactive educational lessons, pool time, guest speakers of various trades and more! Campers will also take 2 field trips each week to local destinations. Lunch and snack is not provided unless noted in the weekly newsletter. Camp is based out of the Eagle View Middle School cafeteria.
