PUBLIC NOTICE
PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the Silver Spring Township Zoning Hearing Board will meet on Monday, April 10, 2023, at 6:00 pm at the Township Municipal Building, 8 Flowers Drive, Mechanicsburg, PA 17050 to conduct a public hearing on and consider the following application(s):
Variance 2023-4 – Continued - Team Rahal of Mechanicsburg, Inc for 6715 Carlisle Pike Mechanicsburg, Parcel ID- 38-07-0461-224 is requesting a variance to Section 503.10- Highway Commercial Zone (C-3), Signs. The applicant is proposing signage that exceeds the allowable square footage.
Variance 2023-2 – Continued - Cumberland Valley School District for 1 Green Ridge Road Mechanicsburg, Parcel ID- 38-06-0011-007EX, Green Ridge Road, Mechanicsburg, Parcel ID- 38-06-0011-005CEX and 60 Pleasant Grove Road, Mechanicsburg Parcel ID- 38-06-0011-023, is requesting a variance to Section 203.C- Dimensional Requirements and Section 437.B- All off street parking lots shall be set back twenty-five (25) feet and Section 437.B.C- All building shall be setback one hundred (100) feet. The applicant is proposing additions, accessory structures and other site improvements.
Special Exception 2023-1 – Michael & Lynne Crawford of 121 Willow Mill Park Road, Mechanicsburg, Parcel ID- 38-16-1070-043, is requesting a special exception per Article 6- Non-Conformities, Section 603- Extension or alteration. The applicant is proposing alterations and an addition.
Special Exception 2023- 2 – Thomas M. & Susan R. Rider of 120 Old Willow Mill Road, Mechanicsburg, Parcel ID- 38-16-1700-090, is requesting a special exception per Article 6- Non-Conformities, Section 603- Extension or alteration. The applicant is proposing an addition.
Special Exception 2023- 3 – Mohammed & Ilham Filali of 83 Beard Road, Enola, Parcel ID- 38-14-0846-019, is requesting a special exception per Article 6- Non-Conformities, Section 603- Extension or alteration. The applicant is proposing an addition.
Variance 2023-5 – Filson Rental Properties for 194 Hempt Road, Mechanicsburg, Parcel ID- 38-21-0295-051 is requesting a variance to Section 214.D.1- Fifty (50) foot setback and Section 214.D.2- Twenty-five (25) foot building separation. The applicant is proposing an accessory building.
The above applications have been submitted pursuant to Section 704 of the Silver Spring Township Zoning Ordinance. All interested parties are encouraged to attend this hearing.
