At the 8/23 Board meeting, The Silver Spring Township Board of Supervisors approved a plan to award a 5-year contract to the lowest bidder, Penn Waste, to provide trash hauling services to Silver Spring Township residents.
- 2024 Quarterly Rates:
- Regular - $90.63
- Low Volume - $78.12
- Township will maintain the “unlimited” service including:
- (1) Bulk item pick up each week
(3) Yard Waste Pick Ups & (1) Christmas Tree Pick Up
- As we work towards a transition to a completely automated trash and recycling collection in the coming year, all residents will be asked to utilize the available carts provided by Penn Waste.
